drinks?? drink??

Drink 本身可以用作 名詞 (飲品)，或動詞 (飲)。
剛巧 drink(飲品) 亦可加 s，成為 drinks (不同的飲品)。所以，意見說得對，drink 不是因為加 s 而由 verb 變 noun 的。

同一個字用作名詞和動詞的有很多很多，亦分為两大類 。
第一類是名詞和動詞是有相關意義的，例如 drink。
第二類是名詞和動詞是有不同意義的，例如 bear, tear。

例子：第一類：
(1) water (It is a good idea to water your lawn with dirty water).
(2) oil (you can use cooking oil to oil the hinges of the doors).
(3) can (he knows how to can cans). 他識得入礶頭。
(4) drill (he uses an electric drill to drill a hole through the wall).
(5) hammer (he uses a hammer to hammer the pipe into the ground).
(6) nail (I can nail this piece of wood to the door with a 4-inch nail).
(7) drink (although they drink all kinds of drinks, they love this particular brand of drink).

例子：第二類：
(1) bear
verb: nobody can bear this kind of burden.
noun: the bear is looking for honey.

(2) tear
verb: they want to tear the box apart.
noun: he is sad, but there is no tear in his eyes.

答 (part 1)：
可以不用 s 。不過解法有點不同。

Drink 解作 [飲品]，即是 [任何飲品]。
Drinks 解作 [不同種類的飲品]。

e.g.
What drink do you like? 你想要甚麼飲品？
I would like a coca-cola。 我要可口可樂。
