Food Japanese Wouldn't Know.?

I am going to go to Japan and I wanted to make something for the family I would be with that would be new to them, but they would still like.
I live in America, so does any one know any American food that you can't get in Japan? Or that they most likely wouldn't know?
I heard mexican is rare there. Would they know things like salsa?

I am not sure if there's any American food that the Japanese can't get...but I do know that they are crazy about organic fruits and many love organic blueberries (they love to stock up while visiting US/Canada). Instead of making them food, I'd say bring them a couple jars of organic blueberry jam.
