i dun think the airline will bother "how many" if the overall size and weight are within the airline's limit on luggage (check-in/hand carry).It's the Custom who will query (based on the law).

there is no "how many". as long as the phones can fit the airline's limits on luggage (size/weight). different phone models have different size/wt. Simply asking for a no. is a bit....

yes, but i think the battery need to be seperated from the phone because it is a kind of dangrous good in the aeroplane and all the phone should be switched off during take off and landing.
