Underlining for polyester material?

Underlining for polyester material?
I have a skirt I would like to sew out of this irresistibly beautiful purple polyester fabric, the problem is it is unbelievably gauze. So I wondered what fabric would be the best to use to counter this problem, without making the skirt too heavy.
