Could this be swine flu?

In my house live my mother (44), step-father (51), older sister (22), her son (1 1/2), my two younger sisters (12 and 15), and myself (19). Me, my little sister (the one that's 12), my mother, my nephew, and my older sister all have really bad coughs and stuffy noses. My nephew's breathing also sounds a little raspy and heavy. No one has a fever though. Bare in mind allergies run in my family. I don't know whether it's something we should be concerned about, or If I'm just being paranoid. We really don't want to be near the doctor's office if possible, but does this sound like something we should worry about??

While it isn't wise to panic about Swine Flu, it isn't wise to underestimate it either. People have died and that's a big deal. Here's a list of symptoms and prevention tips.

Swine flu is a scam...you are fine. If you start getting a high fever and such then be concerned. The real flu will and has killed far more people then the swine flu ever will this year alone. 35,000 people die of the flu every year in America alone and no one makes a big deal about it. This will all die down in no time. Fret not.

Okay anyways -
Bad coughs and stuffy nose - go see a doctor... its probably just a cold, but you want and need to be safe..

eh, swine flu probably isn't a scam... but it's probably not that likely that you'll get it (unless if you're living in mexico or texas maybe). here's a link with some common symptons - http://pediatrics.about.com/od/swineflu/a/409_symptoms.htm

Well the symptoms are:

Headache
Body Aches
High Fever
Coughing
Sneezing
Fatigue
Vomiting

I guess you shouldn't worry, as long as you don't get the symptoms all at once...if you do then you should probably go to the doctor.

Sounds like the common cold to me. Fever accompanies the flu, so does aches and pains, so if no one has those symptoms, I think you are okay. If you are really that worried though, you should consult your physician.
