3x+2y=4
2y= -3x +4
y= (-3/2)x +4/2
y=(-3/2)x +2
Putting it in the form of the equation(y=mx+or-c)
We get c=2
Therefore y-intercept=2

For Y intercept put x=0
3(0) + 2y = 4
2y = 4
y = 2

3x + 2y = 4
2y = 4 - 3x
y = (-3x + 4)/2
y = -3x/2 + 4/2
y = -3x/2 + 2 (y-intercept = 2)

To find the y-intercept, or b, you have to replace x with 0 and find y.

3(0) + 2y = 4
0 + 2y = 4
2y = 4
y = 2

Your y-intercept is (0,2).

(0,2)

To find the y-intercept, you need to set the x=0: 3(0)+2y=4.

Now, solve.

2y=4

y=2
