何謂豬流感？


「豬流感」(Swine flu)是一種感染豬的呼吸道疾病，由A型流行性感冒引起，在豬群間會規律性爆發，疾病引起動物大量生病情況但極少有致命性，通常在秋天及冬天容易擴散，但也會整年循環。目前有多種不同類型的豬流感存在且與人類流感相似，感染情況持續變化。

人類會得到豬流感嗎？



豬流感在正常情況下並不感染人類，雖然的確發生罕見病例，通常是人類與豬密切接觸時發生，但也有少見病例紀錄人會將疾病傳染給其他人。人對人傳染豬流感被認為與季節性流感擴散的方式相同，一般經由咳嗽與打噴嚏傳播。



有新型豬流感發生嗎？

世界衛生組織已經證實至少某些病例是由前所未見之病毒株H1N1傳染，這種病毒在遺傳性質上與完全為人類之季節性流感病毒不同，過去幾年在全世界各地循環並含有典型為鳥類、豬及人類病毒的DNA，包括歐洲及亞洲豬病毒的成分。



最近疾病爆發產生多少病例？

墨西哥政府已經證實由於豬流感爆發有81人死亡〈4月26日中午12時電視新聞〉，他們進一步對千餘人可能的死亡病例調查。美國疾病控制及預防中心也正調查11個人類被豬流感傳染的非死亡病例，由2009年3月開始報告但是並未證實其間有關連。

Q：豬流感有何症狀？


A：感染到豬流感，症狀跟感冒非常類似，會發燒到38.5度以上，咳嗽、喉嚨痛，肌肉、關節和骨頭痠痛、疲勞的情況，還有有流鼻水、胸腹疼痛，最後會出現嚴重的肺炎。





Q：豬流感的致死率？


A：在墨西哥，致命率有6.7%，死亡病患大多是25到40歲的壯年人。





Q：如何預防豬流感？


A：其實和一般預防流感的做法雷同，避免到人多的地方，不要跟他人一起吃一盤食物或一杯飲料，避免握手、親吻，最好常洗手。





Q：怎傳染豬流感？


A：它的傳染是經由打噴嚏、咳嗽或身體接觸散播病毒，曾有專家懷疑吃豬肉是不是也會傳染，但現在已經排除吃肉會傳染的可能。

A：美國疾管局證實豬流感會人傳人，疫區在墨西哥已有81人死亡，上千多人感染，和鄰近墨西哥的美國，也出現19個確定病例，另外有75位高中生疑似感染待確認。

People who work with poultry and swine, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of infection from these animals if the animals carry a strain that is also able to infect humans. SIV can mutate into a form that allows it to pass from human to human. The strain responsible for the 2009 swine flu outbreak is believed to have undergone this mutation.[2]

In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general.
