When you ask for "advice", it is plural or singular with the same spelling.

There is one exception with math, and only one: In British English, there are "maths", but nowhere else in the world will you see "maths". Nowhere. It is strictly a British word. Think of "advice" and "math" as the same deal. They are implied plurals.
