It should be:

There was landslide(not landslips) at the village and firemen were informed(you should use past tense) to take charge of the rescue work.

I think you have good use of vocabulary like "inform", and also show good understanding of passive voice. However, we seldom say landslide is found. Because everyone in the city would know that when such hazards happened.
