What is to be done? evaluate? Just substitute the values.
If x = 3, how much is 2x?
If y = 2 how much is y^2? and 3y^2?
Can you do it now?

2x - 3y^2 (x = 3,y = -4)
= 2(3) - 3(-4)^2
= 6 - 3(16)
