✔ 最佳答案
a)

f(x^2)=5x^2+1 answer//

b)

g(5x+1)=(5x+1)^2
=(5x+1)(5x+1)
=25x^2+10x+1 answer//

f(x) = 5x + 1
g(x) = x^2

a)
f(x) = 5x + 1
f(x) → f[g(x)] = f(x^2)
f[g(x)] = 5(x^2) + 1
f[g(x)] = 5x^2 + 1

b)
g(x) = x^2
g(x) → g[f(x)] = g(5x + 1)
g[f(x)] = (5x + 1)^2
g[f(x)] = (5x + 1)(5x + 1)
g[f(x)] = 25x^2 + 10x + 1

your answer is correct...

it's just substituting
2009-04-23 10:06 am
fg(x)
= 5(x²) +1
= 5x² +1
you are correct

gf(x)
= (5x +1)²
= 25x² + 10x +1
you are correct also, you just forgot to expand it
