I slept 2 hours. why does chinese food do this? It makes me not want to eat it anymore since I still feel groggy hours later.

It happens to me too but more quicker because I fell asleep whilst eating on one occasion.

The problem is that I had too much carbohydrate at once. Too much sugar in my blood. I'm not allergic nor diabetic but if I consumed too much rice then noodles then chinese buns (yes, I do eat quite a lot for a meal) then I will fall asleep easily.

It happened to me when I had some Italian food. One large pizza and a portion of potato wedges.

What kind of Chinese food was it? Panda Express or something? Monosodium glutamate, MSG. O.O Probably really greasy too. Some Chinese foods do this, some don't. Depends where you get it from, I guess.

MSG overload, do not go to that place again.
