What Anime Show should I watch Next?

Gunslinger Girl

"Henrietta" was an innocent little girl when her entire family was massacred and she was left for dead. She was rescued by a privately-owned social welfare organization and given cybernetic components over her battered body. Brainwashed by the organization, she and four other girls now work as cold-blooded assassins, doing the dirty work for the Italian government.

For a confusing and indepth plot and concidering you havn't already seen it and appear to like all the main stream stuff, try good old Neon Genisis Evangelon.

Personally I think it's one that everyone should watch atleast once. :)

Try Ergo Proxy. I found that anime to be very confusing and didn't actually like it myself but a lot of people do.
I would suggest though, Kuroshitsuji. It's a very good anime and not all that long either.

^they're shows that are a little dark, that feature intrigue and 'powers' and have a finite story... unlike sprawling fighting shows like Bleach or Naruto. Not that there's anything wrong w/ those if that's what you like, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're looking for.

Full Metal Alchemist II (2009).

I LOVE THESE SORT OF QUESTIONS ^_^

Ok so, Bleach, highly recommend cus it has a great plot, and it just keeps building (there are very few if any fillers, and you just admire it the more you go along).

DragonBall, DragonBallZ (classics, basic super power given to a seemingly inconspicuous person who turns out to be _______ =x)

Black Cat (good action movie, plot sometimes has a little to be desired at parts, but overall it is just beautiful lol, not to mention a fair amount of comedy to keep it interesting)

Rurouni Kenshin (again, a classic. I prefer the manga to the anime myself, but the first i think 50 episodes pretty much follow the manga and are really good ^_^)

Lastly, Naruto (it was on Toonami, Adult Swim, and you see those retards (no offense to anyone) with the metal bands on their foreheads attached to cloth with a leaf on it. Yes that all came from this ninja and secret techniques series. Teenage kids with awesome powers like shadow manipulation, fire jutsus, and the creation of doppelgangers. A must see for any anime fan (at least once)).

These are like the BASICS for anime, gotta see em some point.
