Is the D.Gray-Man anime any different from the manga?

The Anime and Manga both pretty much the same except there are few fillers in the anime like the arc about General Yeeger isn't in the Manga like few other things that aren't and also the part at the end of the Anime were Krory woke up was completely different to the Manga version.

I personally like them both equally, even though they both have there minor differences and i really wish they would continue the Anime.

The anime actually follows the manga fairly well. There are only a few changes early on, which does not drastically change the story.

There are of course a few filler episodes here and there, but they are usually funny or kinda relavent to the story.

i didnt see past the first episode.
but the anime usually tells more, has more talking, and has more fillers , while the manga is shorter and more to the point.
if u were to start reading it i would read it from the beginning though because it gives you a new view on things that happen. some things in the manga are also left out in the anime too.

I'm currently reading the manga now because the anime ended - I'm on volume 10.

There's hardly any difference up to where I am now.

I prefer the anime because of the action x3 But since the anime ended and the manga is still ongoing I reommend the manga more =]
