Do pokemon trainers realize this?

That yes natures can effect stats but even with the best efforts they will only get +10 or 15 in a certain stat. Why would some one spend hours hatching eggs and training them just for 10 extra it just is not worth it?

Yes but still if you do that math with your cerain case you only get at the most 40 I really do not want to send hours to do that

hatching for natures really isn't that hard but it really does make a difference
for example
Alakazam w/ neutral nature and 252 special attack EVs reaches 369 special attack while a positive nature gives it 405 that is big difference.
A person shouldn't really care about natures unless they're a competitive battler. I have no problem breeding for a specific nature I just use the everstone trick the thing that takes forever is breeding for good IVs

No, I think you should tell them.

I myself do think it's worth it because I just love the moment when the egg hatches!

omg my little togepi, I LOVE YOU!

ow and it was so touching with my elekid....
I was sleeping with my egg, when suddenly I heard some crackling. However, there were no cracks in the egg.

I was studying the egg, when suddenly. ELEKIIIIIIIID!
Oh that was the best 1000volt shock I ever had...
