Is there a free PDF convert online?

I have spent a long time on google, trying to find a free PDF converter, I found that most links are useless and they need me to pay. I don't need to download the converter, but I just want a function online to help me to convert a file to PDF. This would be very helpful to my assignment. Thank you very much if you give me a link.

"the word doc was as large as 200MB which is unusual because word files are generally much smaller in size than the corresponding pdf files." That is NOT true. Word ".doc" files are always larger than the corresponding PDF file. WHY? Because Word files are bloated by design, containing a ton of mostly unnecessary "Type-setting data", compared to all other word processors. To prove the point, open a large ".doc" file, and save it as an ".rtf" file, then compare the file sizes. Just Google search for: convert PDF to DOC online Then, choose from 1.78 million hits.
