Is there a free PDF convert online?

I have spent a long time on google, trying to find a free PDF converter, I found that most links are useless and they need me to pay. I don't need to download the converter, but I just want a function online to help me to convert a file to PDF. This would be very helpful to my assignment. Thank you very much if you give me a link.

Word ".doc" files are always larger than the corresponding PDF file. WHY? Because Word files are bloated by design, containing a ton of mostly unnecessary "Type-setting data", compared to all other word processors. To prove the point, open a large ".doc" file, and save it as an ".rtf" file, then compare the file sizes. Just Google search for: convert PDF to DOC online Then, choose from 1.78 million hits.
