左邊=tan θ- cot θ
=tanθ - (1/tanθ )
=( tan^2θ /tanθ )-(1/tanθ )
=(tanθ ^2-1)/tanθ

右邊= -2cot 2θ
= -2(1/tan2θ)
= -2(1-tan^2θ)/2tanθ
= -(1-tan^2θ)/tanθ
=(tanθ ^2-1)/tanθ
左邊=右邊
所以tan θ- cot θ =-2 cot 2θ 是恆等式

L.H.S.=tanθ-cotθ
