Travel from Dublin to UK

The most direct way to travel from Dublin to Edinburgh would be flying... Currently both AerLingus (www.aerlingus.com) and Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) both operate flights between Dublin and Edinburgh on a 2~3Daily basis...

Other methods such as coaches would requires routing though London or Manchester which makes the journey longer and more costly... While the only international rail link from Dublin is to Belfast, but rail link between Ireland and mainland Britian is not possible...

So I would strongly recommend you to fly, but you could also have a look at Eurolines by NationalExpress (www.eurolines.co.uk) which operate coach services from Dublin to London and Birmingham...
