Why do you have to shake Italian salad dressing?

Let it sit for a while and then look at it... it seperates. If you want to eat plain oil or plain vinegar.. then don't shake it. If you want a well blended flavor, you shake it up to mix it.

When not being used, the oil separates from the vinegar, & the spices settle to the bottom of the bottle. Shaking it re-mixes all of the ingredients.

The herbs settle to the bottom of your jar,and also lol you need to blend the oil and vinegar together.

Italian dressings include olive oil and vinegar. They don't mix well together therefore you need to shake it or you'll be only eating olive oil or vinegar alone.

To mix the ingredients. If not the oil and the vinegar will seperate

cause the stuff sticks to the bottom, the peppers and oil and garlic stuff

If you look in any of the bottled of it you would know. Everything in it (spices) settle.
