Use Vic’s Vapor rub by applying it to a washcloth or paper towel and rubbing it forcefully into the scarred skin on a nightly basis for a few weeks.

Take hot baths and massage the areas regularly.

Go sunbathing! Tanning can diminish and even eliminate minor stretch marks. Be sure to use sun screen.

You ca try a cream specific to scar treatment. Mederma is a good product, & can be purchased in stores like WalMart, Target, & large pharmacies. Here is a link for a coupon;

Bio Oil works fine as well. You can also try some Vitamin E supplements. Do some exercise too.

I don't know if it will help now but real shea butter, the kind you get at health food stores. I used it while I was pregnant, had a 10# baby and don't have any stretch marks. The kind you want is real hard to rub on so I had to heat it slightly everyday with my blow dryer, it's kind of greasy but I swear by it.

If they're new (reddish/purplish marks), you can try laser stretch mark removal. It's basically a laser that helps the skin regenerate tissue and collagen so it repairs the stretchmark damage.

If they're old (silvery and shiny), unfortunately there's really nothing you can do to get rid of them. You can try lasers but they aren't as effective as when they're new.

Those creams don't really work unless you massage them in really well and do it religiously. But even then, it didn't work for me. The only thing that worked was prevention and the laser stretch mark removal.

And DO NOT SUNTAN the area. It'll actually make it worse by discolouring the stretchmarks, making them more noticeable.

get out in the sun! it helps shrink them, but keep on useing that cocoa butter! it might take a while before you start seeing results. good luck = ]
