Before formulating any strategies

First you have to consider the following issues:

Strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

When the company is in a bad shape and a big change is needed to revitalise the company, the management has the task of throwing out these sorts of jargons to convince the bosses that the situation will improve( dont put this in your assignment!!!)

Strategies
Build on strengths- ie client base, customer service and use your strength more efficiently by promoting our companys products more aggressively

Opportunities- New product lines to generate new source of revenue. Expansion into foreign markets and take advantage of current economic climate by buying in undervalued assets

Improve on weaknesses- to turnaround quickly you would have to change the companys mindset to become more conscious of the changing taste, cut down on costs, work as a team to achieve common goal etc etc

Put in extra capital- one of the simpliest and quickest way to turnaround a bad situation into a good one

Corporate Restructuring- Streamline hierachy, create synergy between different operations, dispose toxic assests
