辨論Computer will rule the world

In general, it is very difficult to write anything on a debate topic due to the fact that is is unpredictable during a debate.

The following is some of the questions you may be facing and you will have to come up with an answer ahead of time.

Regarding your topic, the most possible cause of attack from your oppoents is from the technological side. One may suggest technologic advances are so great that eventually machines will rule the world.

You defenses are the followings:
1. A lot of people (including scientists) have made that claim and they all have been failed so far.
two scientists:

# 1967, Marvin Minsky: "Within a generation ... the problem of creating 'artificial intelligence' will substantially be solved.

The two above have failed in their predictions.

2. Gdel's incompleteness theorem states that our system of logic is flawed and thus anything decided by logic has only limited reasoning power.

3. On the political front, as the designer of machines, humans will definitely place a lot of constrains to protect themselves. This will happen before any real AI can come up, during AI's birth and may have laws prohibiting any AI machines to move around in their own free will.

From above: #1 and #2 are the technical difficulties that is impossible overcome, hence machines don't have the needed skill to rule the worl. #3 is human psycology. We, as humans will not let that happen.
