2j - 3j = -14
-j = -14
j = -14/-1
j = 14

spicey lemonade almost got it but got mixed up with signs...

j+j+14=3j+10

2j + 14 = 3j +10

14 - 10 = 3j -2j

4=j

3j - 2j = 14 -10

j =4

2j +-3j + 14= 10
1j + 14= 10
1j= -14 + 10
1j=-4
j= -4
j will equal -4 :)
