(4/(x+2)) - (7/(x+2)^2)
=[4(x+2) -7] /(x+2)^2
=[4x +8 -7]/(x+2)^2
=(4x +1)/(x+2)^2

4(x + 2) - 7
-----------------
(x + 2)²

4x + 1
-------------
(x + 2)

4/(x + 2) - 7/[(x + 2)^2]
= [4(x + 2)]/[(x + 2)^2] - 7/[(x + 2)^2]
= (4x + 8 - 7)/[(x + 2)^2]
= (4x + 1)/[(x + 2)^2]

-3/ x^3+ 6x^2 + 16x

first of all you need to foil (x+2)^2 then you need multiply it by (x+2) then add like terms to combine them, to make the common denominator, after that you have (4-7)/ x^3 + 6x^2 + 16x
then just subtract the top.
i hope that's the correct way to do it.... i'm a little rusty to, but i tried my best.
