"every now and then" mean?

"once upon a time" mean?

how about "a long time ago"? is the same with "once upon a time"? 有一次的english is???????????

every now and then
= from time to time
= occasionally
= 偶爾, 間中

once upon a time (只會用於故事開頭)
= 係好耐好耐以前

a long time ago
= 很久以前

"有一次" 要以句子表達
eg. Two weeks ago, when I went across this road, I nearly got injured by a speeding car.
兩個月前, 有一次我過馬路的時候, 差點被車撞到.

其實意思差不多, 多用在故事開頭, 只是 "a long time ago" 可能感覺更久...
