這句英文在文法上譯得對不對呢？

「靜」在這裡是名詞 -- 樹想要寧靜(名詞)

如果你說 -- Trees want to be quiet.
樹自己想變靜- (quiet變形容詞了)

例:Iwant to be rich. 我想變有錢 (有錢是形容詞)

所以改成- Trees want quietness.


「不斷吹著 」- keep blowing , 沒有keep to + 動詞 的 文法


wind 前有「冠詞 - the」

第一句: Trees want quietness but the wind keeps blowing.






「子欲養而親不在」
你說- Chirdren want to take care parent but who are left.

養=照顧

照顧別人 -- take care of people

parent 父母- (兩個人，眾數 + s)

要指明是他們的父母--- their parents

「Children want to take care OF their parents」

but 後面的 who 沒意思, 不知道who 是誰 ,

leave沒有被動式！！

They left. 他們離開了

I swam. 我游了水 - 我們不會說 - I was swum [錯]

我主動做「游泳這個動作」

同樣, 父母主動做了「離開的動作」- They left


第二句變成:

Children want to take care of their parents but they left.

好了，第二句的文法沒錯，但語法有問題

第二句譯了中文會是 ---

孩子想照顧他們的父母，但他們離開了。

「他們」離開 是指孩子離開了，還是父母離開了呢?

所以，我覺得將他們離開，改成老一輩離開會更好!

老一輩的人 - the old (注意old 在這裡是名詞)

the rich - 有錢人
the poor- 窮人

整句變成: Children want to take care of their parents but the old left.
