She's a friend I've known for a few months and am interested in. Two months ago, she became a full vegetarian. I love fine dining, and previously we use to be able to go to any restaurant in the city without worries about things on the menu. But now that she's a vegetarian, we go to veggie friendly places. But these places aren't as good, and we haven't done fine dining since she became a vegetarian. Yesterday I talked to chefs at two of Toronto's best restaurants, and they said they'll be happy to create a personal 7 course veggie tasting menu for us. They're asking for $75-95 per person...which is average for a tasting menu in Toronto.
What do you think? Would you appreciate this and think it's thoughtful or maybe too much?
