When a person suffer from diabetes,what effect would this have in the osmotic potential of plasma?
If the person doesn't receive any treatment, what will happen to his/her body tissues?

I don't know what happens to the osmotic pontential of plasma which is too tecnical, what I know (I have diabete) is the building up glucose in the blood so the body drink lot of water to dilute the concentration of blood. Does it mean any changing in the osmotic potensial ?The cells of the body cannot use the available glucose to generate energy for their own uses.
