what is the maximum number of electrons that can be accommodated
in:
1. all orbitals with n= 6, l= 1?
2. all sublevels with n= 4?

1. For n = 6, l = 1, there are 6 electrons.
Their quantum numbers are :
(6,1, -1, 1/2), (6,1,-1,-1/2), (6,1,0,1/2), (6,1,0,-1/2), (6,1,1,1/2), (6,1,1,-1/2)

2. Using the equation: max no of electrons = 2.n^2
there are totally 32 electrons with n=4
