cause I was accepted by Seattle U, but rejected by UC and U Wisconsin which i prefer more, so should I
1.) study in CC and transfer to the 3rd year of U OR
2.) study in SU and apply as a international transfer studentin the coming year?
更新1:

Transfer rate is school-specific. Unless you have defined 2 school to compare, otherwise there is no data. And remember, the rate is also affected by the application number.

1. It is up to you. However, in this case you can save some money.

2. Transfer from one university to another is rare case. It happens, but not that much. Highly not recommended.

Finally, I notice another person who answer this question has mentioned the change of UC's admission policy. In fact, this policy does not affect international student at all. That policy only applys to California students only, as a California public universities, UC must make most of admission available to local students. International students are not included.

It is entirely up to you.

But in your case, community college will give you more options.

The rate of transfer is not published (as far as I know). If you know someone who has done that before or if you happen to know anyone who is studying in these universities or CCs, you may get more information from them.

1. In general, this all depends on how the CC is relative to others.
2. This may be more difficult than transfer from CC depending on your university as well.

Also, the major of your field affects the rate of transfer. Some schools do not like students transfer to their "hot majors" and thus, the rate is low in general. Some schools do not allow students transfer into their "hot majors" even though students within the same school (or school system).

UC just erects a new admission policy this year which affects all Asian students. The admission rate for Asians will drop 5% or so.

To summarize, all these depend on your major, your CC or U that you are going to attend and the admission policy of the target university.
