有關DGS中學問題, 10點數!

你好! 我現在正是DGS的學生,就讀F.1，也是一名外校生，也曾經有過與你相同的憂慮；

正如Winnie the pooh所謂， 大約有70%的DGS學生都有參加補習課程。但是其實這些補習課程對學校的課程可以說是多餘的，只要你能夠入讀DGS，你的能力已經不會跟不上進度的了。我自己本來就是一個例子，我沒有在外面參加任何補習課程，但是在1st term exam派成績表時也取了18個A(豁除體育，term mark+exam mark一共有28個項目)。由此可見，只要你上課前備課，上課專心，是不會跟不上進度的。

另外，你不用害怕同班同學的進度相差遠，因為DGS自己獨有一種分班制度，如下：

1U：精英班，所有學生中英數都十分優異，英文最少在分班試要取得B的成績，只有極小數的外校生

1W：可以說是外來生精英班，學生的中英數都有優秀的成績，約有一半的外來生

1X：普通班，學生成績有一定程度(考進DGS的學生程度已經得到肯定)，有大量外來生，但也有部分JS直升的學生

1Y：音樂班，學生成績與1W差不多，班裡多數是音樂優異的學生，JS與外來生比例越是5：3

1Z：運動班，成績與1X相約，班裡多數是運動“勁人”，外來生佔多數


班別排名(descending order)：

1U>1W>1Y>1X>1Z

另外，DGS在中英數三科是分set上課的：

以下是1U、W及X的set：

英文及數學：

set A- 十分“標青”，是所有set中最好

set B- 優異

set C- 優良

set D- 普通

當然排名是A>B>C>D

然而中文又有不同的分set方法：

set A- 普通話set（非最好）

set B- 普通話set

set C- 廣東話精英set （非最好）

set D- 程度較遜

排名：A=B=C>D

另外1Y、Z的set是：

set E=set B

set F=set C

set G=set D

btw, DGS是一間全港頂尖的band 1 top 中學，如果你成績不如小學般優異是正常的，你能夠考進DGS已經比很多人厲害了^^

ps: 雖然你沒有問關於人際關係的問題，不過不用害怕交不到朋友，其實JS的學生不像外界所說的一樣驕傲自滿，其實她們很nice ^o^ 請原諒我八卦：Ｐ

I am a student from DGS. I am now F.1. I myself come from the outside primary school too.

1) Actually, there're almost 70% students have tutoring classes outside school ; but i don't. I think there's no need to pay a lot of money on those extra lessons, because you can study well by yourself in fact. I studied hard for myself and i got quite good result for the 1st term exam!~

2) You can prepare and review the textbooks by yourself in the weekend if you are really that worried. But if you pay full attention in class, take notes and listen carefully, there's no need. Haha.

3) Some of the outcoming students are smart, and they are quite 'top' ; But soe of them are not that clever, however. Whatever, if you study hard, you will become a top student one day!

4) There's an examination for the classification. Top students go to class U, second top go to class V, then W, then X, Y, Z. Under such system, your classmates' level are similar to yours. Therefore, you dont really need to be so worried that you can't be one of the top students or anything.

5) You are lucky to be able to go to DGS. And i hope you will enjoy your life here!

but上sci既時候要pay attention因為老師會講題外話which會係test/exam出!!!
