✔ 最佳答案
36 x 12 /9
= 48

24 x 12 /9
= 32

(Noted that both are integers for above, or else you need to cut the tile)
You have 48 x 32 tiles = 1536 tiles

Where are they still using these outdated units? Inches and feet?

Well, first figure out what each side equals in inches:

36 X 12 = 432
24 X 12 = 288

Now take those answers and divide by 9 to get how many columns and rows you need.

432 / 9 = 48
288 / 9 = 32

Now multiply your rows and columns and you will get your answer.

48 X 32 = 1536

36*24 =864 sq ft

864sq ft = 124,416 sq inches

9^2 = 81 sq inches

124,416/81 = 1536 tiles
