It is NEVER healthy to fast. Period. A healthy diet of all 6 food groups will help you lose weight faster and keep it off longer.

Yeha I think it's just okay if you do it for only a day but that depends on what you mean by fasting.

Fasting one day a week is a great idea if you want to gain the weight back the next day. Generally fasting leads to binging. If you eat nothing, your metabolism starts to slow down and the minute you give your body food again, its going to cling on to it with all its might.

This is true even if you fast once a week.

Just eat healthy 6 days a week... why bother putting yourself through the agony of fasting when eating small meals, 3 hours apart, is better for you?

why would you want to do that? If you're hungry, you should eat. Hunger is your body's way of saying 'eat'!! Simple!

i see no problem with that. you will lose more if you eat small meals everyday. during that one day your body will go into starvation mode and start storing calories and fat you eat the next few days. its better to eat everyday so your metabolism can be constant

You'll be fine. There are people in the world who live on way worse conditions and they're still alive.
