Yes, they are the same.
1 million (1,000,000) equals 1 thousand thousands (1000,000).

Please noted that the 2nd one, 1000,000 is emphasized on something measured in thousands whereas the 1st one is a general form.

Yes, commas are just to visually help us read large numbers. Having them or not does not change the value of the number.

Ignore the comma and compare the numbers. They are the same. There are 6 zeros after 1.

No they are not the same. The number on the left of the semi colon is one million. The number on the right of the semi colon does not exist. This is because you have place the comma in the wrong area. You need to duplicate the number on the left hand side to make it correct. So therefore, it is incorrect.
