desperate means you want something now or you cannot wait anymore.

Desperately means quickly, fast. hurryng in a worried mood and a
rushed and axious manner.
e.g She desperately needed to fix her hair after the roller-coaster ride.


despair means misery and sadness

despair is when someone is unhappy, upet or hopeless
e.g. The man sat in despair waiting for somebody to rescue him.
