1. The total electrical energy used in HK per year is 2 *10^18 J. If 40% of the kinetic energy of the meteorite (1.2 * 10^21 J) can be used for generating electricity, how long can it used for HK?

40% of the energy of a meteorite = 1.2x10^21x0.4 JTime to spend all this amount of energy in HK, by simple proportion, is
= 1.2x10^21x0.4 / 2 x10^18 years
