想問下去過意大利的朋友,
我打算9/4 至18/4 去Italy, 己訂機票
大概行程如下﹕

Milan to Venezia
Venezia to Pisa/ Florence
Florence/ Pisa to Pisa/Florence
Pisa/Florence to Rome

I would like to know:
1. How many days should I stay in each of the cities?
2. How to travel between the cities within Italy? Plane or train is better?
3. If train, should I use Point to Point ticket or travel pass? how much is that approximately? night train or day train?
4. How should the sequence of cities be arranged? It is not confirmed yet...

thx!
If u can only answer just some of the questions, it is OK!
Just tell me as far as u know ;)

Good evening! I have travelled in Italy and Switzerland in last August, I used 8 days in Italy.
Your itinerary is okay because it is straightly from North to South. For Milan and Venice, I suggest you just need to stay 1 day for each city, may be Venice should stay 1 day more. Both cities have not many attractions and you can visit them all in a day. I have not been Milan, but I heard that the city has only the Cathedral worth to visit, and Venice also has not many places to go, you just need to visit St.Marco Square and the Church on it, then you can walk through the city to see its canal system, I think it is enough for Venice. When you go to Venice, you must beware where you live, if you live in a hotel onshore like me, you must remember get-off the train on the station VENICE MESTRE but NOT VENICE SANTA LUCIA! The later station is on the island, hotels in the heart of Venice are MUCH MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than those onshore!
Florence worth 3 days to stay, we need spare 1 day for going to Pisa. In fact, you just need a morning to see the leaning tower and Pisa is not a attractive city other than the tower. I departed from Florence in the earliest train and back to Florence at noon. Florence is not a big, you may walk through all famous attractions, but Michelangelo Square is far away from city centre. Going there on foot is possible, but it is quite a painful experience, you better find some public transportation to there.
Many people spend 3 days in Rome, but I think 4 days are better. If you stay 1 day more, you will have more time to have a lax walk in the city and it is an extremely comfortable and worthwhile experience. Travelling on trains between cities is the best way you get around Italy. You don't need a pass for different trains, because you will not have many rides, I took just 7 trains in Italy, include the trip which crossing border. You can book tickets on TrenItalia official homepage:

I travelled to Spiez of Switzerland from Milan, I just changed train in Milan and I had not visit the city.

Vatican is the name of papacy's city state, it locates IN the city of Rome. So, you will visit Vatican when you go to Rome, the tiny city can be reached by MTR easily.

您好,我推薦您一個很不錯的面向香港地區的旅游網站,里面包括各個網點的介紹,比如中國,日本,美國,加拿大,歐洲等地區,以及當地的酒店預訂,機票等信息。
