-10x = -20

0 = -20+10x (put -10x on right hand side to make it positive)

20 = 10x (put the 20 on the left hand side to make it positive)

now how many times do we have to multiply 10 to get 20?

so 20/10 = x

so x = 2

-10x=-20
-10x/-10=-20/-10
x=2

-10x = -20

well first you have your problem: -10x = -20
bring -10 to the other side by diving both sides by -10
