batman vs spiderman who would win?

I remember reading a scenario where Spider-man and The Batman faced each other. Batman was putting the beat down on some thug in an alley, and Spider-man just happened to swing by and see this, he thought by his appearance that The Batman was some villain so he started fighting w/ him. Batman threw some batarangs at him which Spider-man was able to dodge, a punch was thrown by Spider-man... that missed The Batman...but it almost took his head off and Spider-man was holding back... joking around like he normally does. Batman immediately recognized that this fight had to end quick because Spider-man was much faster and stronger than him. So he used a smoke capsule and filled the alley. Spider-man couldn't see... obviously... and his spider sense was out of whack because of some ingredient in the smoke capsule. Batman landed a punch to Spider-man's stomach that put him down.

And that was the end of the fight.
Batman doesn't hesitate that's why he wins.

However, Batman has beaten Superman before. When Batman has prep, he can do a lot of damage. He's got the tech and the resources.

However, I don't think he can beat Spiderman in a routine run-in on the street without prep.

Probably Spider man, but I'm a Batman fan so I'd say Batman of course.
Because Spider man always wins,, but Batman is just kind of nuts and has so many cool gadgets..

In an inter-company crossover, both characters have to come out looking shiny, so they stop fighting and go after Joker and the Green Goblin.

But, beyond that, Spider-man if Batman is unprepared(yeah right!)

Batman if he knows the fight is coming and he can plan..

Spider-Man would own Batman because Batman doesn't have any powers. Sure, he's got cool weapons, but Spider-Man has his Spidey-Sense and he can dodge them all.

Batman is from the Dark Knight.

basically whoever attacks first will win,but.....spiderman will also win if batman's attack did not succeed in taking him down the first few times,unless of course batman was smart enough to slip a tracking device on spiderman when spiderman was getting away.

well in a fair match basically it will be spiderman if can outlast batman and batman if he can kill spiderman early on.

but my money would be on batman cause i am confident he is smart enough to get away if attacked first,or take down spidey if he attacked first

I'd say spiderman cause he can shot up his thing (whatever it is) anywhere he want...batman just has his car and plane..so yeah i think spiderman

That's a tough one.

Batman has defeated superheroes, and super villains, who have powers through his intelligence and technology.

Spiderman, on the other hand, has defeated people more powerful and intelligent than he is.

I'd bet on Batman, but either way it'd be one heck of a fight.
