In general the weather in UK is nice during June to August.

You can consider hiring a car yourself and drive to different towns.
If not you can always travel on local buses. (First Group Travel - Local Bus)

There is National Express for longer journeys.


The town I suggest that you go is London - (british museum, thames, london eye -34 pounds per ride, Bristol, Cardiff. I think other towns developed too early and most things are old and boring.
Taunton is a nice little town in Somerset.
