How exactly do you play dominoes?

It's good you asked that I just got through spankin some as...Anyway,we normally play with four players.First turn all pieces face down and mix them up each player gets seven.We don't go in any particular order we just respectivly grab seven pieces.Anyway,whoever has double 6 goes first by playing itThis piece is called the spinner.(explained later)..Play goes to the left.The object is to get points.Let's say double sixes are played,added together you get 12.If the next player has and plays the domino with a 6 and a 3 on it.The sixes match so if you add 12 and 3 you get 15.Points are given out in 5 point increments.So that person calls 15 when he plays or someone else can call your points.That's basically it.Play keeps going till someone calls 1 domino.If you don' call one domino you don't get to claim the points in the end.When they play their last domino and called one domino last turn they add up the points on all remaining dominoes.If someone can't play they ''knock' (let everyone know they can't play) and play passes them. To make sure you understand after the double 6 is played and lets say the 6/3 is played too, you have to match one side of your domino in other words you need to one of the following 6/0,6/1,6/2,6/4,/6/5 on the double six side and 3/0,3/1,3/2,3/3,3/4,3/5,. Doubles are turned sideways so ount all their points.Another thing after you play on both sides of the double six (spinner) you can play on the other two sides makin a cross..After the first game whoever goes out plays any doubble they want as spinner.
if no one can play and everyone still has dominoes the board is locked. Add up your points and whoever is lowest wins and adds points up.Not his points just everyone elses.Since board is locked doubble 6 becomes spinner again.

give an equal number of dominoes to every player face down, except for the double 12. put the double twelve in the middle of the board, and then, have every player turn over his first 4 dominoes. Going clockwise every player places a domino on the board that matches another. For example to put o a piece next to the double twelve it would need to have at least one twelve on it. and the twelve would need to be up against the edge of the double twelve. also, you should never have more or less than four dominoes turned over, so when you place one, turn over another so that you still have four visible.
