Are these default grey smiley face pictures premenent?

I mean I they only going to be here until yahoo answers switches to yahoo profiles or are they still going to look like that afterwards.

Pretty sure this is the one they're sticking with.

This default has been used for quite some time in other areas of Yahoo, so I think this will be the all-purpose default avatar across all Y!Applications.

i guess so
i like them , because the gray side faces were kinda boyish and thus, i imagined everyone with put a picture as a boy even if they weren't
it kinda annoyed me

Hello,

The answer to this is most likely, yes. The gray face is coming from Yahoo Profiles. They are transitioning from Y!360 to Profiles, causing this.

That is the default for the new profile system. People have to go in and readd their photo if they want to use it.
