I can thing of 2 methods:
1. The easiest method is to buy an USB external harddisk.
Copy everything into that USB harddisk, and then transfer to where ever you want.
This is th fastest and most convenient method. The External harddisk should cost you around $6xx, for over 200G already.
2. Alternatively, you can set up a small home network with a gigabit switch. Then set up a shared folder on the desktop and put everything you need to transfer there.
The good is that once it is done, it is very simple, and even more convenient that USB harddisk. And, if you already has a gigabit network available, it will be even more simple than the first method.
However, it is not as simple as the first (USB Harddisk), because you need to do a bit of networking and wiring. This can be troublesome and you need a bit skill and knowledge. Also, the shared folder will pose some security risk. Besides, even gigabit network is not as fast as USB 2.0 harddisk.
Overall, I will suggest you to use USB external harddisk. But if you have a readily available gigabit network, then network sharing may be better.

You cannot use router to do so, because most home router is only 10 / 100, which is far too slow.
And I would say: forget about network share if you know nothing about networking. It is impossible to teach you about setting up network in yahoo knowledge.
