Not only does Ash's mom have Mr Mime but May's mom had pokemon too. 7am and i haven't slept so it's not coming to me though but I remember she did for a fact.

Not so sure about but i believe she mentioned being retired from doing the arena battles and used to win ribbons herself. I believe she had the evolved form of skitty but it's a blur to me right now.
