i am trying to rember that name that is in california thats more like the bronx? can somebody send me a list..i think it began with c but not sure

I used to live about 20 min from all those places so I know all the names.

ya, wouldn't say they are slums, but they are cities I for sure wouldn't want to live in! Drugs, drive by shootings, unsafe area!

There are no slums in California per say, there are areas that one may say are ghetto because of low income housing and above average crime because of poverty and drugs. But even those neighborhoods have palm trees. Did you see slum dog millionaire? Now that's a slum.

Compton is nothing like the Bronx. Maybe you want to be more specific about what you mean when you say "slum".

SlickRICK got it right.. there are No slum cities in cali, I lived in lennox for 6 months, which by many here was consider it a slum.. It wasn't. but for six months I developed what the locals call the Lennox lag.. loosely translated means when the planes fly over in the middle of your conversation you stop at mid sentence and pick it up where you left off, when the planes passes... Strange lol

Chula Vista is a dump, we called it "Chulajuana." A better answer is a slum begininning with "C" would be "California."

South Central is just about all slum.they do not refer to it as South Central because they[ the residence] condider it a racial thing.
I have to go there often and I make sure I go early in the AM while all the gang people are still sleeping. that's just the way it is and i'm sure there is going to be a lot of thumbs down on this but as i said, that's just the way it is.
