Suzuki car parts
Suzuki was experiencing difficulties with their car parts
being scratched and bumped during handling and shipment.
Because of the irregular shapes of the parts such as a car bumper
or head light, they used a lot of resources on packing and
packaging material. Suzuki would use a card board box as
exterior packaging filled with polyfoam. The product itself was
wrapped in either corrugated paper or bubble wrap.
Since polyfoam is expensive and damage to the environment,
and corregated paper didn’t really support the irregular shapes
of the car part. The process was expensive and time consuming.
They needed a new solution that was easy to enforce, yet effective
in its ability to reduce product damages and handling costs, and
was environmentally friendly.
O3 Flex turned out to be a perfect match for Suzuki.
Using O3 Flex they have reduces the handling process
dramatically, running a smoother and more effective operation.
Material and labor costs have been greatly reduced, as they
only use one product in the entire process. And saving of
up to 50% of storage space compared to compared to using
a card board box, has also been achieved.
