Check to be sure, you might have a universal charger. Most mobile phone chargers will work from 100-240v 50-60 hz, it will say on the small box on your ac adapter/charger cord. If it says 100-240v input you're fine, if it says 220v input you will need a converter or new charger. Probably the easiest thing is to go to a mobile phone or electronics store and buy a new charger, just bring the phone and make sure the voltage is compatable with your phone, they're usually fairly inexpensive.

The converter should do the trick. I have an Asian phone and all I did was just plug it into the wall via the converter and it's been working/charging fine.

Just cut the charger in half - 220/2 = 110.

If you don't have a universal charger or a converter, perhaps your house has a 220 outlet for your electric stove or your big air conditioner or heating unit.

If the plug is not the same configuration, you can splice in a new plug.
