Is this funny or creepy?

I was at the library the other day with a very attractive female friend after she asked me to help her write a summary on a very sexual book (i was very surprised!). Anyway, she told me her thoughts as she read every line, so the awkwardness really shut my lips together. But, had I said the following, would you people (especially the ladies) have found it to be funny or creepy. As a note, we are close friends, and unfortunately she has already rejected me some time ago, citing unwilingness to jeopardize our friendship as the main reason.

Friend is rambling on about the book (WHICH IS VERY SEXUAL)
Me:Hmm, it seems to me like you know a lot about sex.
Me:(flirting, conan o'brien style) How about I tutor you and you teach me about sex in return? (giggling, conan o'brien style)

So, what do you think? Would it have been funny or outrageously creepy?
