一般西式喜帖信封格式是以橫行，由左至右，於信封面的置中書寫。只需要列明客人的姓名(如有需要，可在名字下加上地址)便可。
但要注意的是，除數字或Mr./Mrs./Ms.外，其他字也需要用全寫。若是其中一位是Dr.，便需要以Doctor 替代。當中包括「and」及地址中的Post Office Box, Street, Avenue, Lane, Apartment …等等，也需要用全寫。

除數字或Mr./Mrs./Ms.外，其他字也需要用全寫。




以下是客人姓名的寫法：
若是己婚夫婦，並相同姓氏：於同一行列出Mr. and Mrs.{丈夫的姓名}。
若是己婚夫婦，但不同姓氏：於第1行先寫Ms. {婦人的姓名}，第2行寫and Mr. {丈夫的姓名}
若是未婚夫婦：於第1行先寫Ms. {婦人的姓名}，第2行寫Mr. {丈夫的姓名}。並不需要用「and」連接。
