English- 不明白兩個adv.可以放在一起使用

adverb 是可以
(1)形容verb(walk steadily)
(2) 形容adjective ( pretty handsome, pretty 在此是adverb)
(3) 形容adverb (像閣下的例子, never quite)
other example :
He is definitely quite a hero(他的而且確是個英雄)
She drived so fast (so is an adverb; fast is an adverb also)
Peter walked very fast. ( very is an adverb.....)

She wore a hat quite out of fashion.
她戴著一頂完全過時的帽子。
2. 相當,頗
I quite like watching volleyball games.
我相當喜歡看排球比賽。
3. 【美】很
Ann is quite pretty.
安妮長得很漂亮。
